Purchasing
The Power Purchasing Center is discount buying for community
partners, an enterprise of Second Harvest Food Bank of Central
Florida. The Power Purchasing Center, located at the Food
Bank, has been established as a low-cost alternative to grocery
stores and wholesale club shopping. At the Power Purchasing
Center you will find the inventory available for purchase.
The purchase inventory includes those items designated by
PUR in the item code column of the daily inventory.
A great benefit of shopping at the Power Purchasing Center
is that agencies are not restricted to just using the purchase
items to implement your charitable food program only. The
inventory at the Power Purchasing Center is available for
use in the general operation and maintenance of your entire
nonprofit organization. If your agency is in need of paper
towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, copy paper, foam plates,
cups, plastic spoons, forks, knives, etc, you have access
to discount buying for all these items and more. And, if your
account balance is current you can charge it.
