Agency Development, Education & Partnership Training
Current Classes
The mission of the ADEPT program is to promote the growth and development of Second Harvest partner agencies through education and training in order to provide an effective and efficient response to hunger, food security and nutrition in Central Florida.
ADEPT strives to strengthen the Mind, Body, and Soul of our partner agencies. Since it launched in 2006, ADEPT has offered more than 100 courses to partner agencies of the Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida. More than 1,300 staff, volunteers, and clients from agencies have taken advantage of a variety of topics such as safe food handling, deciphering the nutritional facts label, and grant writing.
ADEPT is a grassroots, first stop for agencies looking to advance their agency’s mission. The classes offered are great entry-level courses that introduce participants to concepts that can take root and flourish at the agency level.
